The cottage has been sympathetically restored by the current owners, with the bedrooms retaining their original exposed beams. There is a relaxing atmosphere here - from the minute you pass the tree-lined driveway and are then welcomed by your friendly hosts - Martin & Vicky.

The ground floor has an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. There are two large sofas, a TV with Free-to-air satellite channels, a DVD and Video player, along with a large selection of books and board games. The dining table can seat six guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetière. There is a separate utility room next to the kitchen with a washing machine and fridge freezer. There is also a WC & hand basin located on the ground floor. There is secure Wi-Fi internet access available in the cottage.

There is an open staircase leading to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms. One has a double bed and an en-suite shower, WC and hand basin. The other has a two single beds and an en-suite bathroom, with full sized bath, overhead shower, and WC and hand basin. Bed linen and towels (bath, hand and tea towels) are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. There is a wardrobe for storage in each room. A cot can also be provided. For added child security, a stair gate can be installed at the top of the staircase. Radiators are available in each room, and the heating charge is included in with the rental price.

There is a private garden and patio area in front of the cottage, with sun loungers and barbecue area - ideal after a hard day's sightseeing or cycling through the country lanes. There is plenty of space in the orchard for picnics or kicking a ball around and, depending upon the time of year, there is always something to do in the well-kept vegetable garden - watering, weeding, harvesting, and eating! There is also a set of swings, a boules court and table tennis for your enjoyment.
